The target audience of Québec Reads, the website where this excerpt was published, mainly consists of English-speaking Canadians. I chose not to localize the text or adapt the cultural references for this draft. I replaced a few stores names by the generic designation, for example, but I chose not to change the proper nouns of the public figures mentioned by the poet.
